AEROEL introduces the new MECLAB.80 System, a Bench-top flexible Laser Micrometer, designed to perform the off-line checking of a wide range of cylindrical parts, of various shapes and dimensions, such as shafts, rubber rollers, pins, as well as turned and ground pieces in general.
The MECLAB.80 system uses the new 80 mm gauge to quickly perform accurate measurements in a wide range of diameters, between 0.8 and 78 mm, with a repeatability down to 1µm.
Diameters and ovality, concentricity, edge positions, gap between two pieces, taper, groove bottom, peak diameters: all this can be easily measured in a fraction of a second and compared with the pre-programmed acceptance limits.
In addition, when a multiple-dimension check is demanded, it is possible to store a specific “measurement programme” for each part; after retrieving this programme, MECLAB.80 will guide step-by-step the operator through the execution of the measuring sequence, making everything simpler... and faster.
The results of each measurement may be printed and are automatically stored to work out a statistical analysis, to be then transferred to the external computer memory.
A wide range of fixtures and accessories is available, like adjustable "V" blocks, centres and cones, to fit almost all parts that are usually checked: all of them can be mounted on a slide to allow fast positioning of the piece in the gauging position.
