MECLAB is an accurate and flexible instrument suitable for measuring the diameter of cylindrical components, shafts rubber rollers, turned or ground components, hard metal tools.

Ideal for off-line inspection and quality control.

MECLABis an accurate Laser Micrometer, designed to be used off-line, as a bench-top flexible gauge, to check a wide range of pieces, with different shape and size, such as:
small shafts,
parts machined by lathes or grinders,
rubber rolls
hard metal tools ...
It measures diameter and ovality, run out, edge position, gap between parts, taper, throats and peaks, cutting diameter, etc.
It checks tolerances by comparing the actual dimensions to the programmed limits.
Measurement reports are printed out.
Simple and effective statistics are performed on measured data.
All results are stored in the memory and can be down-loaded to a remote Computer.

It is insensitive to changes in the ambient temperature: the self-calibration device automatically compensates any drift due to room temperature changes, making the Meclab ideally suited for use in the workshop.
Wide range of fixtures: several accessories are available to hold and position the parts being measured. Pairs of centres or cones and adjustable V blocks can be mounted on a slide, to support and move the piece into the gauging position.
Slide position read-out: when the slide is equipped by the optional linear displacement sensor, it is possible to read on the screen the slide position.
