The XLS (eXactum Laser Scan Micrometer) series Laser Gauges represent the latest technological development in laser scanning micrometry, featuring record performance.
With their built-in and very powerful electronics, the XLS micrometers can be used as Stand Alone, Intelligent Diameter Sensors. When programmed with a Dedicated Software and completed with external Display Units and Operator Panels, they can be the hart of Dedicated Laser Measuring and Control Systems, for the on-line control of a variety of different products.

 The XLS micrometers can be directly connected to a PC, PLC or NC via standard Ethernet or RS232 or RS485 interface line. Any electronic unit equipped with such an interface can simply get accurate and fast diameter readings: the user can input the measurement data into his own programme, to perform any specific task. Thanks to this feature, the XLS gauges are ideal diameter sensors for OEM Customers, System Integrators or for large scale applications.

Our Performance

BARLINE is a Laser System which has been specially designed for on-line gauging of the diameter of products manufactured in cut lengths, such as:

  • steel ground bars,
  • steel drawn tubes,
  • copper tubing ..

 

  • It measures the diameter and the ovality from 0.1 to 149 mm, using single or dual axis (XY) laser gauges, depending on the diameter range and the type of product.
  • It records and prints the maximum, minimum and average values read along the bar and, following the pre-set tolerance limits, it triggers suitable sorting signals at the end of each bar.
  • It performs automatic grinder regulation keeping the product within the tolerance limits throughout production.
  • Detailed statistical reports are processed and printed for each bundle of bars.

Our performance

GRINDLINE is a Laser System designed to control the diameters of ground parts, machined by through-feed or plunge centreless grinders, such as:

  • electric motor shafts,
  • shock absorber rods,
  • pins,
  • steering racks ...
  • It works in through-feed, installed at the output of the machine, wthout having to stop the components.
  • Automatic shape recognition of ground parts: Grindline software ignores all shape irregularities that might otherwise compromise the result of measurement.
  • It gauges up to 10 different diameters on components ground by plunge type grinders.
  • It measures diameter and taper on parts ground by through-feed machines.
