Aeroel are proud to introduce their new ILS150 Laser Gauge, designed
to measure diameters from 0.8 mm to 149 mm.
This new gauge is specially suited to measure ground bars, steel tubes, power cables, plastic pipes, printing rollers, ets.
Thanks to its excellent accuracy and stability, the ILS150 outperforms all the existing competitive models available to day: comparison tables are available on demand, to show the differences between the ILS150 and all main competitors.

The following points are to be mentioned:

• Repeatability up to ± 0.75 mm (within ± 3 s and 1 s measuring time).
• Linearity (centred product) as low as ± 3 mm, including all calibration uncertainties (uncertainty of the used masters, thermal uncertainty, repeatability, etc)
• Side linearity of 0.08 mm/mm: with a part horizontal displacement of of ± 50 mm, you will get a maximum error of only ± 4 mm, for all the measurable diameters !
• Vertical linearity (in the measuring plane) as low as ± 5 mm: by moving the part vertically, in all the measuring field you will get will a maximum error of ± 5 mm, for all the measurable diameters.
• Thermal coefficient very close to the steel value (with opposite sign): that means that the ambient temperature changes have minimum effect on the measurement accuracy, specially when measuring steel parts, usually requiring the best precision.
• Operational temperature range up to 50 °C.
• Separable transmitting and receiving units and large gap: two standard models will be available, with 400 mm or 600 mm.

The new gauge will be manufactured as ILS model (Intelligent Laser Sensor, with built in processor) or as ALS model, to be coupled to the CE-10 control Unit to built the new Barline.150 ed Extruline.150 Laser Measuring and Control Systems.
